Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By tapping "Got it", "Allow" or "Don't allow" on the privacy screen in the app, or by using PactMe ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app. These terms apply alongside Google Play's Terms of Service, which govern your download and purchases.
2. Who can use the app
You must be at least 13 years old to use PactMe. If you are under the age at which you can agree to these terms on your own where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they accept these terms on your behalf.
3. What the app is for
PactMe helps you set intentional limits on your own app usage: it pauses you before you open an app, holds you to a duration you chose, and shows you statistics afterwards. It is a personal habit tool, intended for you to use on your own device for your own benefit.
4. What the app is not
- Not a parental control or surveillance tool. It is not designed to monitor or restrict another person, and it does not send your activity to other people.
- Not a security or enforcement mechanism. Even in Enforced mode, a determined user can disable the accessibility service, revoke permissions, force-stop the app, or uninstall it. This is intentional: Android gives you control over your own device, and PactMe works by cooperating with your intentions, not by overriding them. Please do not rely on it to make an app inaccessible.
- Not a medical or therapeutic service. The app does not provide diagnosis or treatment. If your relationship with your phone is causing you real distress, please consider talking to a qualified professional.
5. Acceptable use
Use the app on devices you own or are authorised to configure. Do not install or configure it on someone else's device in order to monitor or restrict them without their knowledge and consent.
6. Licence and ownership
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. The app, its design, code, text and graphics, and the PactMe name and logo belong to the developer. You may not:
- copy, modify, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
- bypass, crack or tamper with subscriptions, licence checks or Google Play billing;
- distribute, sell, rent or publish the app or modified versions of it;
- use the app to break the law or interfere with other apps or services.
7. Free and PRO features
PactMe offers a free tier and a paid PRO tier, available as a subscription or a Lifetime purchase. The specific features included in each tier are described in the app. We may add, change or remove free features from time to time. If a change would remove a PRO feature you are paying for, we will announce it in the app or in the release notes beforehand, and it will take effect no earlier than your next billing period.
To improve the app, we sometimes test different versions of features or screens, so some users may see options or layouts that others do not.
8. Purchases, renewal, and cancellation
- PRO is sold through Google Play as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in your local currency inside the app before you confirm.
- Lifetime is paid once and does not renew. It unlocks PRO for as long as the app is offered, on devices signed in to the Google account you bought it with. The renewal and cancellation terms below apply to subscriptions only.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
- You can cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep PRO until the end of the period you already paid for. Subscriptions are managed in your Google Play account, so we are not able to cancel one for you.
- If a free trial is offered and you cancel before it ends, you are not charged. Otherwise the plan you selected is charged when the trial ends.
- If your subscription lapses, PRO features become unavailable. Your local data and statistics are not deleted.
9. Refunds
Purchases are processed by Google, so refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy and are requested through Google Play. We are not able to issue refunds directly. If something in the app is broken, please contact us first, as we would like to fix it.
10. Your data
Your usage records, pacts and statistics are stored on your device, and we do not keep a copy on our servers. If you want to keep them, please back up your device; we are not able to restore them if your device is lost or reset, or the app's data is cleared. The app sends analytics and crash reports through Google Firebase, which you can turn off in Settings. In some regions, analytics starts only after you agree. See the Privacy Policy for details.
11. Availability and changes
The app depends on Android system behaviour that varies by manufacturer and OS version — background process limits, battery optimisation, and accessibility handling in particular. On some devices, the system may interrupt monitoring. We may update, change, or discontinue features, and will note significant changes in release notes.
12. Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it; remember to cancel any subscription in Google Play separately. If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by cracking the subscription, your licence ends and we may stop providing the app or PRO features to you. We may also stop offering the app; if we do, we will try to give reasonable notice. Sections 6 and 13 continue to apply after termination.
13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from missed pacts, undetected app launches, lost local data, or the app failing to block something you hoped it would block. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the app changes, and will update the date at the top. For material changes, we will show a notice in the app when you first open an updated version, before the changes apply to you. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you can stop using the app and cancel your subscription in Google Play. Continuing to use the app after the notice means you accept the revised terms. Minor edits, such as clearer wording, are made on this page.

4. 本应用不是什么
- 不是家长控制或监控工具。它并非为监控或限制他人而设计， 也不会把你的使用情况发送给其他人。
- 不是安全或强制执行机制。即使在强制模式下， 一个下决心的用户仍可以关闭无障碍服务、撤销权限、强行停止或直接卸载本应用。 这是有意为之：Android 把设备的控制权交给你，而守约的工作方式是配合你的意图， 而不是覆盖它。请不要依赖它来让某个应用无法打开。
- 不是医疗或心理治疗服务。本应用不提供诊断或治疗。 如果你与手机的关系已经让你真实地感到痛苦，请考虑寻求专业人士的帮助。
5. 可接受的使用方式
请在你拥有或有权配置的设备上使用本应用。不得在他人不知情、未同意的情况下， 为监控或限制其行为而在他人设备上安装、配置本应用。
6. 许可与知识产权
我们授予你一项个人的、有限的、非独占、不可转让且可撤销的许可，允许你在自己拥有或控制的 Android 设备上 为个人非商业目的使用本应用。本应用及其设计、代码、文字、图形，以及守约（PactMe）名称和标志均归开发者所有。你不得：
- 复制、修改、反编译、反汇编或逆向工程本应用，法律明确允许的情形除外；
- 绕过、破解或篡改订阅、授权校验或 Google Play 结算；
- 分发、出售、出租或发布本应用或其修改版本；
- 利用本应用从事违法活动，或干扰其他应用与服务。
7. 免费版与 PRO
守约提供免费档位与付费 PRO，PRO 可通过订阅或终身买断获得。各档位具体包含哪些功能以应用内说明为准。 我们可能不时增加、调整或移除免费功能。若某项调整会移除你正在付费使用的 PRO 功能， 我们会提前在应用内或版本更新说明中告知，且最早从你的下一个计费周期开始生效。
为了改进产品，我们有时会测试功能或界面的不同版本，因此部分用户看到的选项或布局可能与其他用户不同。
8. 购买、续费与取消
- PRO 通过 Google Play 出售，可选自动续费订阅（月付或年付）或一次性买断的「终身」方案。 价格会在你确认前以你所在地货币显示在应用内。
- 终身方案一次付款、不会续费，在本应用持续提供期间有效， 适用于登录了购买时所用 Google 账号的设备。下方的续费与取消条款只适用于订阅。
- 除非你在周期结束前至少 24 小时取消，订阅将在每个周期结束时自动续费。
- 你可以在 Google Play 中取消 → 付款和订阅 → 订阅。 取消后不再产生后续续费；你已付费的当期内仍可继续使用 PRO。 订阅由你的 Google Play 账号管理，我们无法代你取消。
- 若提供免费试用且你在试用结束前取消，则不会产生费用； 否则将在试用结束时按你所选方案扣费。
- 订阅失效后 PRO 功能将不可用，但你本地的数据与统计不会被删除。
9. 退款
购买由 Google 处理，因此退款适用 Google Play 退款政策，需通过 Google Play 申请。我们无法直接发起退款。 如果是应用本身出了问题，请先联系我们，我们希望先把它修好。
10. 你的数据
你的使用记录、守约记录和统计数据保存在你的设备上，我们的服务器上不保留副本。若你希望保留这些记录， 请自行做好设备备份；设备丢失、恢复出厂或清除应用数据后，我们无法为你恢复。 本应用会通过 Google Firebase 发送统计分析和崩溃报告，你可以在设置中关闭；在部分地区，统计分析在你同意后才会开启。 详见隐私政策。
11. 可用性与变更
本应用依赖的 Android 系统行为在不同厂商与系统版本间存在差异， 尤其是后台进程限制、电池优化和无障碍服务的处理方式。 在部分设备上，监控可能被系统中断。我们可能更新、调整或下线某些功能， 重要变更会在版本更新说明中注明。
12. 终止
你可以随时卸载本应用以停止使用；请记得另行在 Google Play 中取消订阅。 如果你严重或多次违反本条款（例如破解订阅），你的使用许可即告终止，我们可以停止向你提供本应用或 PRO 功能。 我们也可能停止提供本应用，届时会尽量提前合理告知。第 6 条和第 13 条在终止后继续有效。
13. 免责与责任限制
本应用按「现状」提供，不附带任何明示或默示的保证，包括适销性与特定用途适用性。 在适用法律允许的最大范围内，我们不对间接、附带或后果性损害承担责任， 亦不对以下情形导致的损失负责：守约未生效、应用启动未被检测到、 本地数据丢失，或应用未能拦住你希望它拦住的内容。 在法律不允许排除责任的范围内，我们的责任以你在索赔发生前十二个月内为本应用支付的金额为限。
部分司法辖区不允许某些免责条款，因此本节的部分内容可能对你不适用。 本条款不限制你依强制性消费者保护法所享有的权利。
14. 本条款的变更
我们可能随应用迭代修订本条款，并更新顶部日期。对于重大变更，我们会在你首次打开更新后的版本时于应用内提示， 提示之后变更才对你生效。如果你不同意修订后的条款，可以停止使用本应用，并在 Google Play 中取消订阅； 看到提示后继续使用，即表示你接受修订后的条款。措辞调整等小修改只在本页面更新。

- 重製、修改、反編譯、反組譯或對本應用程式進行還原工程，但法律明文允許者不在此限；
- 規避、破解或竄改訂閱、授權驗證或 Google Play 結帳服務；
- 散布、出售、出租或發布本應用程式或其修改版本；
- 利用本應用程式從事違法活動，或干擾其他應用程式與服務。
7. 免費版與 PRO
守約提供免費方案與付費 PRO，PRO 可透過訂閱或終身買斷取得。各方案所含功能以應用程式內說明為準。 我們可能不時新增、調整或移除免費功能。若某項調整將移除你正在付費使用的 PRO 功能， 我們會事先於應用程式內或版本更新說明中通知，且最早自你的下一個計費週期起生效。
為改善產品，我們有時會測試功能或介面的不同版本，因此部分使用者看到的選項或版面配置可能與其他使用者不同。
8. 購買、續訂與取消

10. 你的資料

13. 免責與責任限制
本應用程式依「現狀」提供，不附帶任何明示或默示之保證，包括可售性及特定目的適用性。 於適用法律允許之最大範圍內，我們不對間接、附帶或衍生性損害負責， 亦不對下列情形所致之損失負責：守約未生效、應用程式啟動未被偵測、 本機資料遺失，或本應用程式未能攔住你希望它攔住的內容。 於法律不允許排除責任之範圍內，我們的責任以你在求償事由發生前十二個月內為本應用程式支付之金額為限。
部分司法管轄區不允許特定免責條款，因此本節部分內容可能不適用於你。 本服務條款不限制你依強制性消費者保護法規所享有之權利。
14. 本服務條款之變更
我們可能隨應用程式更新修訂本服務條款，並更新頁首日期。對於重大變更，我們會在你首次開啟更新後的版本時於應用程式內提示， 提示後變更始對你生效。如你不同意修訂後的條款，可以停止使用本應用程式，並在 Google Play 中取消訂閱； 看到提示後繼續使用，即表示你接受修訂後的條款。文字調整等細微修改僅於本頁面更新。
